Budaya Berdampak Pada Proses Pemulihan Pasien Pasca Stroke

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pandangan pasien stroke yang berbeda dari segi sosial dan budaya, akan menciptakan pemikiran dan persepsi yang berlainan dalam menerima proses penyakitnya. Perawatan professional tanpa mengesampingkan nilai budaya setempat dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.  Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh budaya pada kualitas hidup pasien yang menderita stroke Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan kajian tentang keanekaragaman budaya dengan menggunakan metode (PRISMA). Jumlah yang sangat penting untuk penelitian ini adalah 10, dari tahun 2010 hingga 2017. Kriteria artikelnya adalah bahasa Inggris, kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dan artikel-artikel lengkap di Sciencedirect, PubMed, Ebsco, Spinggerlink, dan E-Journal. Kata kunci digunakan "Kualitas hidup", "Budaya" dan "Post-Stroke". Hasil : Latar belakang budaya yang berbeda akan menimbulkan persepsi yang berbeda. Budaya dipengaruhi oleh tradisi, spiritual, dan lingkungan. Dampak budaya pada kualitas hidup pasien terlihat dari keyakinan terhadap penyakitnya, representasi penyakit, dan hasil kesehatan secara holistik. Kesimpulan : Perawat dapat membantu meningkatkan quality of life pasien pasca stroke dengan tidak meninggalkan konteks budaya masing-masing pasien selama proses pemulihan. Rekomendasi : Pendekatan berbasis budaya dengan melibatkan keyakinan yang dimiliki pasien baik berupa tradisi ataupun secara spiritual,  dapat menjadi alternative dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan  untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.
